I am an artist & teacher based in beautiful Gloucestershire in the UK. I enjoy experimenting & making art with all types of media, but my true passion is watercolour. I love large, loose & vibrant watercolours & the excitement I feel when painting them.
I come from an artistic family & have always been encouraged to create (my mother was the artist Vera Lowe).
After many years’ experience teaching art to adults in real life I’m extremely excited to be developing my teaching into e-courses. I’m eager to explore the possibilities it holds for creating & connecting the energy & ideas of participants from around the world!
I believe that developing artists need both a supportive environment & a skilled tutor to enable them to learn new skills & develop their creativity. Art should be about the excitement of learning through creating & experimenting. The Watercolour Journals is the space I have created to share my skills & experience through my courses.
P.S. If you would like to keep in touch, please sign up for my newsletter to keep up to date with all the courses & art news – the form is over on the right-hand side of this page. Many thanks, Erica.
